Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar optional, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup water for the berry puree
  • 2 cups lemonade store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh berries for garnish optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Berry Puree: In a blender, combine the mixed berries and 1/2 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  • If you prefer a sweeter puree, add the granulated sugar and blend again until fully incorporated.
  • Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp, if desired. Set aside.
  • Mix the Spritz: In a large pitcher, combine the berry puree and lemonade. Stir well to mix.
  • Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  • Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the berry lemonade mixture over the ice, filling each glass about 3/4 full.
  • Top off each glass with a splash of additional sparkling water for extra fizz, if desired.
  • Garnish: Add a few fresh berries and a sprig of mint to each glass for a beautiful and flavorful garnish.
