Ingredients
  

For the Roasted Pears

  • 4 ripe pears halved and cored
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

For the Chili-Mint Tahini Miso Sauce

  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • ½ tsp chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 –2 tbsp water to thin sauce if needed
  • 1 tsp lime juice

For Garnish

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Zest of ½ lime

Instructions
 

Step 1: Roast the Pears

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Brush pear halves lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Place cut side up on a baking sheet and roast for 15–20 minutes, until tender and caramelized.

Step 2: Prepare the Sauce

  • In a blender or food processor, combine tahini, white miso, fresh mint, chili flakes, lime juice, and water to achieve a smooth, pourable consistency.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.

Step 3: Assemble & Serve

  • Arrange roasted pear halves on a serving platter.
  • Drizzle generously with chili-mint tahini miso sauce.
  • Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and lime zest for brightness.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature as an appetizer, side, or plated starter.
