Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup cherries pitted and halved
- 2 tbsp cherry compote
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the rolled oats, milk, cocoa powder, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- In a mason jar or a glass, add a layer of the chocolate oat mixture.
- Add a layer of Greek yogurt over the oats.
- Add a layer of halved cherries on top of the yogurt.
- Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the jar.
- Top with a sprinkle of chocolate chips and a spoonful of cherry compote.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight (or at least for 6 hours).
- In the morning, stir lightly before eating and enjoy!
